The OPPO Reno5 5G is now available from MTN and Vodacom stores across South Africa starting at R14,999.


The Oppo Reno5 5G comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 128GB and 256GB.
The handset comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ColorOS 11.1.
The Oppo Reno5 5G sports a quad-rear camera setup which comprises a 64MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro and 2MP portrait lens. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4300mAh battery with 65W super Flash Charge support.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G is powered by the high-end MediTek Dimensity 1000+ processor and features a 6.55-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The handset runs Android 11 operating system topped with Oppo’s own ColorOS 11.1. The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G offers dual SIM support and comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
